Welcome to Battlestar Odysseys, an online role-playing community based on
Ronald D. Moore's re-imagined Battlestar Gallactica.
At present, our story begins around the planet of Aerelon. Roles are available on the planet itself, Amphitrite Station which orbits above it, and on the Battlestars Acropolis and Neptune. It is before the attack of the Cylons, and humanity believes itself secure.
On Aerelon, there is relative calm, though growing local excitement at the prospect of Fleet Week, the event that brings the Battlestars Neptune and Acropolis to Aerelon space, causes many of the civilians of Aerelon and the station above it to be at their most patriotic, or at least in good spirits at the thought of increased revenues. Many members of the Colonial Fleet are now enjoying shore leave, taking advantage of some time planet-side, or enjoying Amphitrite Station's Triton Grand Casino. No one suspects that their time to enjoy such pleasures may be coming to an end...
